“Sometimes I still can’t believe that I’m in my 20’s. But I have to admit, this has been the most significant chapter of my life yet. There are a lot of memories that stick out to me from other chapters of my life, like my childhood or teenage years, but what sticks out the most in my 20’s are the little moments. The moments you think are forgettable. Like this random moment in a parking lot, on my way to study. I’m figuring out that the moments we deem insignificant are perhaps the most significant of all. Growth isn’t instantaneous so these are the moments that add up to really create change in your life.
If I wasn’t here for those moments, what would be the purpose of my life? If you’re in your 20’s right now like me, we need to make sure we’re here for those moments. We have to take care of our cervical health and getting your Pap test is a crucial way to do that. Let’s all make sure that we stay cervical cancer-free so we can have the luxury to keep living these inconsequential moments that make all the difference in the end. Let’s all make it known that we deserve access to a pap smear exam.”
