I love creating memories with my family. This was our first time taking both the kids around downtown Seattle and of course we had to document it by taking pictures. It pains me to think about missing those moments so I do everything I can to make sure I stay healthy so I can enjoy these moments worry-free. That is one of the reasons I get my Pap test done regularly.

Cervical cancer was once the leading cause of cancer deaths in women, but thanks to the Pap screening, the lives of thousands of women have been saved, but this could change for young women under the age of 25. Lack of access to regular screenings and the threat of a guideline change could take the Pap away from young women which could increase the risk of cervical cancer. We can’t let this happen.

January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, and it’s the perfect time to raise awareness about the life saving effects of the Pap test, and the necessity of its availability for young women!
