I stand with the 25 and Alive campaign of spreading awareness that cervical cancer used to be the leading cause of cancer deaths in women and now it is much lower thanks to the Pap test! Getting your regular Pap test & cervical cancer screening is so, so important. I am lucky enough to have been brought up to believe that there is power in understanding and caring for my body. My mom and all the women in my family have never made me feel ashamed or embarrassed or scared for asking questions or needing help with my health. My mom always says “it’s never too early to get to know your body & to make sure you’re taking care of her.” It’s never too early to make sure you are on top of your health.
Never Too Early To Prioritize Cervical Health
Molly reminds us that age shouldn’t be a factor when we seek preventative help for our cervixes. Molly is spreading the word about a potential guideline threatening access to the Pap test so that every young woman has a say on why this needs to stop.
