It’s Cervical Health Awareness Month and I’m celebrating with @be25andalive all month long. ⭐️ Did you know? ⤵️🌈✨ ✅ The Affordable Care Act (ACA) covers cancer screenings for almost everyone in the U.S., including Pap testing for everyone with a cervix. ✅ Even if you have received your HPV vaccine, you should get screened for cervical cancer regularly. ✅ Health professionals recommend that women schedule their first Pap test when they turn 21. After your first screening, your doctor will recommend how frequently you should get them. If your results are normal, it may be less often than if your results are abnormal. Your health matters! 📲🦋 Follow along all month long for information on cervical health.
