“January is cervical cancer awareness month! Once the leading cause of cancer deaths in women, cervical cancer is now better regulated and controlled by pap screening. Women under the age of 25 are at risk of losing access to pap screens due to guideline changes- we cannot let this happen.

I am learning to embrace all the challenges and adventures life throws my way and how to really navigate and cope with the person I am becoming and the life I choose to lead. This year is pushing me out of my comfort zone and helping me achieve what I imagined to be impossible. I can’t imagine not having the ability to accomplish my goals because of the lack of accessibility to a pap smear exam.

Every woman deserves a chance to dream, achieve and most importantly to be #25andalive”
